ELSEWHERE follows four athletes on a self-propelled and selfdocumented freeride expedition in the Alps. Camping and skiing deep in highalpine terrain, they enter a quiet, surreal space — close in distance, yet far fromeveryday life. Thefilm uses the metaphor of a prism to express this fragile, in-between world. Slowly revealed, it dissolves again as the journey ends. A personalpoem, written and spoken by one of the athletes, adds emotional depth to thisimmersive mountain experience.
